Cash Assistance Given 1st & 2nd Quarter: January - June, 2025


  1. WOW provided $500 in cash assistance to support a homeless and unemployed single mother of three children as she worked with a caseworker to secure housing.


  2. WOW provided $300 in cash assistance to an elderly woman with home care expenses who suffered her third stroke and was finally home after being in and out of the hospital and rehab. Her elderly husband was struggling to take care of her at home.


  3. WOW provided $300 cash assistance to a mother and her two children, whom the children's father and grandmother put out. They were temporarily living in a hotel while waiting for their apartment application to be accepted. The cash assistance was for the

    hotel fee.
